The 2011-2012 Global Program has completed its second residency in Geneva, Switzerland.
Eleven teams have been working since July, 2011 on developing, piloting, and studying innovative educational projects -- see a set of 1-page descriptions here (pdf format). While each project is unique, each focuses on using technology to create new educational activities that connect learners to current knowledge and issues of global importance.
The projects will continue after graduation, and we invite you to join us in helping these projects to grow and evolve. If you would like more information about becoming a participant, supporter, or collaborator for any of the projects, please use the contact information found within each project description, or email Jeff Kupperman (jkupp [at] umflint [dot] edu) or Sharman Siebenthal Adams (sharmans [at] umflint [dot] edu).
Current partners, collaborators, and informants include: Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation, International Labor Organization, John Knox Center (Geneva), M-Ubuntu (South Africa), On The Spot/Spektrum TV (Hungary), Parks and Museum of Cozumel (Mexico), and Universidade Federal do Ceará (Brazil)
